How Much Does NTB Charge to Patch a Tire?

National Tire & Battery (NTB) merged with Tire Kingdom a while back, so if you see either name, you’re dealing with the same company. I’ve used them twice for patches, and here’s the pricing breakdown.

NTB charges $20 to $35 for a tire patch. Both of my visits came in at $25 — one was a simple nail puncture, the other a screw in the tread. They always use the plug-patch combo method and include a tire balance check at no extra cost.

One thing I’ll note: NTB locations tend to be busy on weekends. My Saturday visit took nearly two hours. If you can swing a weekday appointment, you’ll be in and out much faster. They do accept online appointments through their website.

Dave’s verdict: Solid mid-range option. The included balance check adds real value. Book online on a weekday for the best experience.
